Steve Rekedal
Steve Rekedal and his wife Mary Jo have been a friend and prayer supporter of Head to Heart Restoration Ministry since its beginning in 2007. With the exception of his time serving in Malaysia as a missionary, Steve has served on the Head to Heart Board of Directors almost continuously since its inception.
Steve and Mary Jo arrived in Austin, Texas in 1994 and were part of the leadership of Hope Chapel as an elder, board member and director of the children’s ministry.
Steve’s professional life in international insurance has taken him to numerous countries, visiting local missionaries while working as consultant for many insurance companies. They lived with their two children in Panama for three years, returning to the United States to finish their children’s education.
In 2018 Steve and Mary Jo joined their daughter and son-in-law on the mission field in Malaysia and India with Beyond Missions. In 2025 they returned to the United States where they continue to serve Beyond Missions in the Home Office living in the Dallas area. Upon returning to the United States, Steve rejoined the Head to Heart Restoration Ministry Board of Directors.
The many transformed lives due to the ministry of Head to Heart Restoration Ministry are testimonies to God’s love and the power of His resurrection in action!
