Brenda Ramsey
Brenda Ramsey was born in a suburb of Chicago, and moved to Texas as a young girl. She met her future husband Mark when they were both drummers in their high school band. Music has been a part of their relationship since the beginning. Music continued to play an important role in Brenda’s life, as her husband became a professional musician, and with him, she had the opportunity to sing with several church worship teams, perform professionally, and record with various musical artists.
In the 1990s Mark and Brenda were members of a contemporary Christian band, and along with their bandmates, had the privilege of leading many people to the Lord during their concerts.
Leading worship has been a passion of Brenda’s most of her adult life. For over twenty years Brenda assisted Mark in leading worship once every month for Church Under the Bridge, a homeless ministry of Mission Possible Austin.
After years of counseling in many different vocations, Brenda entered into her formal education under Head to Heart Restoration Ministry School of Pastoral Counseling and the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA), becoming a Licensed Pastoral Counselor, Certified Temperament Counselor, and a member of NCCA.
She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary, and earned Advanced Certifications in Temperament Therapy and Advanced Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to her training with Head to Heart Restoration Ministry and the NCCA, Brenda is a Certified Facilitator of the Life Skills program with Life Skills International.
In 2019 Brenda and Mark moved to the beautiful Highland Lakes area, extending her counseling ministry to include Head to Heart Restoration Ministry and Hope House in Burnet, Texas.
Brenda conducts counseling sessions virtually, by phone and at the Head to Heart office in Round Rock, Texas.
A wife of over 35 years, mother of four, mother-in-law of three, and grandmother of ten, Brenda has experienced a lot of life with its peaks and valleys. She is passionate about sharing the transforming message of Jesus Christ which ultimately brings healing to hurting people.
